In 1987, the Ministry of University Affairs approved Sripatum University’s request to establish its Chonburi Campus. The university received Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn’s divine grace to preside over the opening ceremony of Sripatum University at Chonburi on July 19, 1987. On December 18, 2000, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening ceremony of the 14-floor Dr. Sook – Dr. Malinee Pookayaporn Multipurpose Building, fully equipped with modern learning facilities.
Sripatum University at Chonburi (one among the University’s other campuses, namely Bangkhen Main Campus, Phayathai School, and Khon Kaen Campus) offers both undergraduate and master’s degree programs in various disciplines, with emphases on up-to-date knowledge delivered by our full-time high quality lecturers and professors as well as by distinguished, nationally-renown guest speakers, learner-centered practical hands-on experience activities, and actual site visits to real workplaces to assure that our graduates meet the qualifications declared in the university’s vision of “Wisdom, Skills, Cheerfulness, and Morality.”
The university’s emblem is a hexagon with a lotus inside. The three lotus petals represent intellectual, skill, and joy, while the hexagon represents the surrounding people who aim to help our students become knowledgeable, skillful, and happy in living with morality.
The university’s color's are blue and pink.
